6800
Il sistema MSI-6800 era un sistema strutturato a bus basato sul bus SS50 sviluppato da South West Technical Products (SWTPC) per il processore 6800 nel 1975. Tutte le schede MSI erano quindi compatibili con tutti i circuiti stampati e le schede di interfaccia SS50 esistenti.
Il sistema principale aveva una scheda madre da 16 slot ed era disponibile già assemblato o in kit per alcune parti. Potrebbe supportare un’unità disco floppy doppia (2 x 160 KB) che può essere integrata nell’unità principale. Può anche supportare un’unità disco rigido da 76 MB.
Il sistema minimo era composto da una scheda CPU, una scheda di interfaccia e una scheda di memoria RAM da 8 KB. Se è stata utilizzata una scheda 6809 opzionale, questa può essere estesa a 384 KB.
